Mark Leduc was an Olympian, a 1992 Barcelona silver medallist, and a Canadian super lightweight champion. However, on top of his athletic accomplishments, he was also an advocate for the LGBTQ2S+ community, a brave, trailblazing voice for athletes coming out publicly, and a gay icon. His journey through adversity to reach the height of the Olympics is inspiring, and his advocacy work for the LGBTQ2S+ community has left an indelible impact on the boxing and sports world.
