Becoming a Registered Club

To become a registered club with Boxing Ontario, you must first submit an online registration form to be reviewed. Upon receiving confirmation of an accepted registration you will be eligible to register members (athlete’s, coaches, recreational athlete’s, officials)

All registered clubs/gyms are subject to the same rules and regulations to ensure standard of quality in both instruction and training facility. Please review conditions of acceptance thoroughly before submitting an application.

All application approvals are subject to the Executive Director and Board of Director’s discretion.

Conditions of Membership

Please ensure you review the conditions listed prior to submitting an application to register a club with Boxing Ontario.

Certified Coaching Staff

Registered, Boxing Ontario certified coaches must be present to supervise any training/sparring.

Bylaws and Policies

It is understood that Boxing Ontario’s liability insurance covers only Boxing Ontario members in activities related to their membership in Boxing Ontario and pursuant to the Policies and By-laws of Boxing Ontario.

Properly Registered Staff and Athletes

All staff members supervising training and programs within the club must be registered with Boxing Ontario

Clean and Safe Environment

All training must be conducted in a clean and safe environment using equipment as outlined in the Boxing Canada rule book and the NCCP Coaching Manuals. Club membership will be conditional at all times and must pass an initial safety inspection by an appointee of the Executive Committee. The inspection will include a checklist, approved by the Executive Committee, of safety features and a recommendation for membership of the club.

Registered and Certified Coaches

All Clubs must have registered at least one coach or instructor who is certified as an NCCP Level 1 – Instruction Beginner

Registration is Online

Registration is handled online.

Payment is handled online via credit card through our host registration system, Trackie.

The Registration Season runs to Dec 31 of each year. The previous season’s club registrations will be honoured until Dec 31 of that year. Club Membership renewals should be forwarded as early on in the new competition year as possible. All memberships are renewable each year and must be accompanied by the appropriate club registration fees
