Boxing Canada has announced the names of the athletes who have been selected to the 2023-24 Canadian Elite National Team, and 13 boxers from Ontario’s provincial team have earned the coveted spots.

The selection announcement follows the conclusion of the 2023 Canadian Elite National Championships hosted in Brampton, ON during the 40th anniversary of the Brampton Cup held on February 2-5, 2023.

“After in-depth evaluations completed by the National Panel of Experts, Boxing Canada is proud to reveal the following athletes selected to the 2023-24 Elite National Team and ranked according to the process outlined in the 2023 Pan American Games Qualifier Procedures,” said Boxing Canada.

M63.5 kg Kuwardeep Manu (King of the Ring)
W66 kg Ali Rosen (Caged Dragon)
M67 kg Jayden Trudell (Border City Boxing)
M71 kg Hunter Lee (West Windsor Boxing)

Team Canada will now set their sights on the 2023 Pan Am Games Qualifier and other international tournaments on the road to the Paris 2024 Olympics. Boxing Ontario would like to wish Team Canada and Team Ontario all the best for the 2023-24 season.
