Boxing Ontario is putting out a bid to all clubs in the Central Region to host a boxing show on Canada Day at the CHIN Picnic. The show will be on Friday, July 1st, at 3pm, in a venue on the CNE grounds, likely the Better Living Building. The card must be a minimum of 10 bouts.
Boxing Ontario will contract the host club a set fee to host the show as it will be free to the public and therefore they cannot charge admission. The host club will also be allowed to hand out promotional materials for their boxing club at the Boxing Ontario display booth. Thousands of people will be on site throughout the day for the CHIN Picnic. Last year the show had a big crowd and received a great response.
