The 2009 Female National team is once again, for the second year in a row dominated by Ontario females. This team is surely a natural precursor to what could be the first women’s amateur boxing team headed to the 2012 Olympics. Out of the 10 spots 6 belong to Ontario Women all of whom are returning members except one, Amanda Galle of Mississauga’s All Canadian Boxing Club, she joins this list of top ranked women on her first journey to compete for Canada on an international level.
