Boxing Ontario is thrilled to announce the Team Coaches selected to represent Ontario for the 2024 Youth & Junior Canadian Championships in Calgary, AB from March 20-24, 2024.
The Team Ontario coaches are:
- Virgil Barrow (Kingsway Boxing Club)
- Julia DiMarcantonio (Napper’s Boxing Club)
- Danial Khan (King of the Ring Boxing Club)
Coach Danial, Coach Julia, and Coach Virgil were selected by Boxing Ontario’s Coaching Committee to support the team throughout training and competition, to impart their knowledge and experience on the young athletes, and to accompany the team in Calgary and work in their corners.
Boxing Ontario announced the Team Coach applications in January 2024 with numerous impressive resumes submitted. Thank you to all the coaches who applied for the three coaching positions.
The Team Coaches will be executing two training camps for the Youth/Junior Provincial Team leading to further prepare them for Nationals. Camp 1 took place at King of the Ring on February 24-25, and the second camp will be hosted at Kingsway Boxing from March 9-10.
