Boxers will gather this weekend in St.Catharines in what will be the last tournament of the 2007/2008 Champion Series. Athletes will be contending for a last round chance for Gold, Silver or Bronze. Over 35 clubs and more than 100 athletes from all over Ontario are scheduled to take part.
The Ray McGibbon’s tournament will also feature the 2008 Annual Boxing Ontario Awards, with awards being handed out throughout the weekend festivities. These awards will honour 5 new Legends Inductees whom have made great contributions to the sport of amateur boxing in Ontario into Boxing Ontario’s Ring of Fame and other individuals who have exemplified stellar athletic, coaching and officiating performances during the 2007 season.
