Oshawa, ON – The best boxers in the province will congregate in Oshawa this weekend starting on Thursday for the Junior C, Youth & Senior Provincial Championships. Over 30 boxing clubs and over 100 athletes from across Ontario will take part. Winners this weekend make the Provincial team that will ultimately represent Ontario at their respective Canadian Championships.
This weekend will feature powerful female bouts that are all contending for the coveted spot on the National Team. For the first time in history female boxing will be featured in the 2010 Olympics.
What: Junior C, Youth & Senior Provincial Championships-Hosted by Motor City Amateur Boxing Club and Boxing Ontario
When: Thursday October 28 – 7pm
Friday October 29 – 1pm & 7pm
Saturday October 30 – 1pm & 7pm
Sunday October 31 – 12pm (Noon)
Where: Holiday Inn Oshawa – 1011 Bloor St East– Oshawa
Tickets: $60 Weekend Pass, $20 per Session.
