As many of you know, this is Erik Espinola’s last week as Boxing Ontario Executive Director. We are so grateful that he has stayed on to help with the Brampton Cup; a great send-off following the incredible impact he has made within the organization.
Erik has been involved with Boxing Ontario for years as a volunteer, official, ambassador, staff member from 2012-2018, and most recently as Executive Director since September 2020. Erik’s organizational experience, sport knowledge, vision, diverse skill-set, and passion for sport and boxing improved the sport system and advanced Boxing Ontario’s mission for the 2020-2024 strategic cycle.
Thank you, Erik, for all of your contributions and for your commitment to boxing in Ontario. We wish Erik continued success as he pursues new avenues that will allow him to gain additional sports experience, and we are thankful that he will be helping to ensure a smooth transition until we find a replacement.
