GOLDEN GLOVES | Boxing Ontario Provincial Championships 2023

Save the dates for Boxing Ontario’s 2023 Provincial Championships (Golden Gloves): October 26-29.
The purpose of this provincial tournament is to give Ontario Open boxers (11+ bouts) the opportunity to advance to the 2024 Canadian National Championships (December 5-10, 2023 | Montreal, QC).

ATTN: ATHLETES/COACHES
Please ensure your Boxing Ontario membership is up-to-date (current 2023/2024 membership), as well as your medical, prior to registering for the tournament. Coaches, please scroll down for the Coach Registration form. Coach registration is mandatory to corner tournament athletes.
✅ Boxers must arrive to each weigh in with completed book (or temporary book), with completed name, photo, signature, and registration listed in the back.
✅ Boxers must also bring proof of citizenship or a PR card to weigh-ins. (Please note, any athletes who advance to and win Nationals with a PR card may not be eligible to be a member of the National Team. Please contact Boxing Canada for more information).
✅ Ensure you bring your pre-bout medical (download here) completed and signed by athlete and coach.
✅ Coaching Card or registration number with photo ID required at all club competitions and tournaments. If you have not received your 2023/2024 Coaching Card, please contact the office at [email protected] to receive your registration number.
IMPORTANT: BOXERS SHOWING UP TO THE WEIGH-IN STATION WITHOUT BOOKS, COMPLETE TEMPORARY BOOKS, OR COMPLETED MEDICAL FORMS WILL NOT BE WEIGHED IN.

**PLEASE NOTE: PROVINCIALS IS FOR OPEN CLASS BOXERS ONLY (11 OR MORE BOUTS); FEMALE & MALE CATEGORIES; JUNIOR A, B, C, YOUTH AND ELITE. AGE FOR PROVINCIALS IS CALCULATED BASED ON THE AGE THE BOXER WILL BE IN 2024**
Registration does not guarantee a bout in the tournament. Early registration does improve the chances of a bout!
