Save the dates for Boxing Ontario’s 2023 Novice Tournament, October 26-29.
This developmental tournament is open to boxers with 0-10 bouts in the following categories:
Female: Initiation Funbox, Juniors, Youth, Elite
Male: Initiation Funbox, Juniors, Youth
*THERE WILL NOT BE A MALE ELITE CATEGORY FOR THIS TOURNAMENT

ATTN: ATHLETES/COACHES
Please ensure your Boxing Ontario membership is up-to-date (current 2023/2024 membership), as well as your medical, prior to registering for the tournament. Coaches, please scroll down for the Coach Registration form. Coach registration is mandatory to corner tournament athletes.
✅ Boxers must arrive to each weigh in with completed book (or temporary book), with completed name, photo, signature, and registration listed in the back.
✅ Ensure you bring your pre-bout medical (download here) completed and signed by athlete and coach.
✅ Coaching Card or registration number with photo ID required at all club competitions and tournaments. If you have not received your 2023/2024 Coaching Card, please contact the office at [email protected] to receive your registration number.
IMPORTANT: BOXERS SHOWING UP TO THE WEIGH-IN STATION WITHOUT BOOKS, COMPLETE TEMPORARY BOOKS, OR COMPLETED MEDICAL FORMS WILL NOT BE WEIGHED IN.

Please note: the number of bouts will be limited by the number of rings and sessions. The maximum number of registrations per ring is 130. Registration does not guarantee a bout in the tournament, however, early registration does improve the chances of a bout.
