FDC | All-Female Performance & Development Camp – London

Join Boxing Ontario’s Female Development Committee (FDC) for a morning camp at Bushido Boxing in London on Sunday, October 15. This camp is designed to bring female athletes from across the province together to spar and learn from each other.
Athletes will have an opportunity to get some professional boxing headshots by Calvin Caron, so please come picture ready at 9am. While athletes get their headshots, the FDC will have an open discussion about Building Your Brand and Fundraising.
Everyone will also have an opportunity to get lots of sparring rounds with different style boxers. This is a great way to prepare for Provincials Championships (Oct. 26-29), the Novice Tournament (Oct. 26-29) or your next bout. You won’t want to miss this one!
*Pre-registration is required to ensure proper matches. Registration closes Wednesday, October 11, 2023 at 11:59pm.
REQUIREMENTS:
– Boxers are required to be registered for 2023 or 2024 and have an updated medical.
– Headgear
– Mouthguards
– 14-16oz sparring gloves. BAG GLOVES WILL NOT BE PERMITTED FOR SPARRING!
DAY TIMELINE:
9:00am – Athletes arrive and check in
9:15am – Headshots with Calvin Caron
Discussion – Understanding your brand/fundraising
10:30am – Boxing training/sparring
12:30pm – Yoga with Penny
1pm – Head home
