Attention, Boxing Ontario Elite Open Female and Male Athletes:
Boxing Canada has recently announced that the Elite National Championships will be held at the Brampton Cup in Brampton, ON on February 2-5, 2023.
In advance of National Championships, Boxing Ontario is looking to fill some available spots for the Provincial Team and is conducting an open call to the Membership for the following weight categories:
WEIGHT CATEGORIES
Male 51 kg (2 spots)
Male 54 kg (1 spot)
Male 92+ kg (1 spot)
Female 48 kg (1 spot)
Female 50 kg (2 spots)
Female 52 kg (2 spots)
Female 54 kg (1 spot)
Female 57 kg (1 spot)
Female 66 kg (2 spots)
Female 70 kg (1 spot)
Female 75 kg (2 spots)
Female 81 kg (2 spots)
Female 81+ kg (2 spots)
The deadline to submit entries is Thursday, January 5, 2023 at 12:00 pm EST
Submission Requirements:
- Must be an Elite Open category athlete (born 2004 or older and 11+ bouts on your record).
- Must have a 2023 competitive license.
- Must be a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident.
- Available to attend at least 1 training camp to be held in January 2023 on a weekend with Provincial team.
- Available to compete February 2-5, 2023 in Brampton, Ontario.
- Complete the submission form fully AND include a copy of your record book (front and back) for review.
