Secretary: Shane Strickland

Director at Large: Abdul Jouda

Director at Large: Troy Ross

We would like to officially welcome Troy Ross and Abdul Jouda to the Board of Directors. They were elected by voting members to serve a two-year term on the Board, and join current Board Members, Rod Power, Nick Chronopoulos, and Shane Strickland, who were previously elected at the 2024 Annual General Meeting.

The Board of Directors remains dedicated to fostering an environment rooted in inclusiveness, respect, integrity, and ethical conduct, with a core focus on serving the best interests of our athletes. The new Board will continue to build upon the progress and foundations established by the previous Board.

Boxing Ontario would like to express its heartfelt appreciation for outgoing Board Members, Jenn Ogg and Matt Standish, who served as President for two consecutive terms and Director at Large, respectively. Their leadership, dedication, and countless volunteer hours have been instrumental in shaping the organization’s success. We sincerely thank them for their unwavering commitment and significant contributions to the advancement of boxing in Ontario.

Boxing Ontario would also like to thank everyone who submitted nominations for the Board of Directors in September. Your enthusiasm and willingness to contribute your expertise are truly appreciated as we work together to grow the sport we all love.
