Boxing Ontario’s Elite Nationals Team delivered an exceptional performance at the 2025 Canadian Championships, bringing home a total of 25 medals including 7 gold, 4 silver and 14 bronze, earning Ontario the distinction of being the top-performing province at the event.
This year, just over 45 Ontario athletes represented the province at the Elite Canadian Championships, held in Winnipeg, Manitoba from November 26-29, 2025.
The official Boxing Canada medal results for Ontario are as follows:
“My preparation for Nationals was rooted in structure, consistency, and full trust in my coaching team,” said 5x Canadian Champion Scarlett Delgado. “This year came with different challenges, but stepping into the finals for my 100th fight and securing my fifth straight national title felt like a strong reflection of the work we put in.”
Gold and silver medalists will represent Canada on the National Team, an incredible opportunity for these talented athletes to significantly advance their Olympic-style boxing journeys, represent Canada at tournaments around the world, and even begin their bids for the LA28 Olympic Games.
Throughout the tournament, Ontario’s athletes displayed remarkable skills, resilience, and competitive spirit. Their professionalism and team camaraderie embodied the very best of Team Ontario, and Boxing Ontario couldn’t be prouder of their accomplishments and representation.
“All the medalists getting their hands raised in the finals is a special moment, and it’s nice to see coaches and athletes achieve their goals,” said Provincial Coach Ray Napper. “It’s a pleasure to be a part of that journey. Team Ontario athletes all made their province proud.”
Boxing Ontario would like to thank the Elite Nationals Team Coaches: Ray Napper, Kathy Williams, and Sebastian Cordova for their expertise, leadership, and commitment which contributed to Team Ontario’s success.
“As this was my first Nationals as a Team Ontario coach, the experience was incredible. Our athletes’ performances truly made the province proud,” said Coach Kathy Williams. “Even though our athletes came from different clubs, it was inspiring to see them cheer each other on and come together as one big team.”
Boxing Ontario would also like to congratulate the athletes’ personal coaches for their unwavering dedication in developing these talented fighters.
Boxing Ontario wishes to congratulate the entire team. Whether earning medals or national rankings, setting personal bests, or gaining invaluable experience, each athlete’s effort reflects the strength and spirit of Ontario boxing.
