OFFICIALS CLINIC | Level 1

Are you interested in becoming a Boxing Official? If you have a passion for the sport of boxing and you are willing to undergo training to receive certification, join our next Level 1 Officials Clinic.

This clinic is the first step in joining the ranks of dedicated professionals who are essential to the safety and integrity of boxing.

As a Boxing Ontario Official, you get the opportunity to:

➡️ The Level 1 Officials Clinic is also beneficial for coaches and athletes, as it will expand your knowledge of the Scoring Criteria.

CLINIC DETAILS

• The Boxing Ontario Level 1 Officiating Clinic is a 2-day course.
• Attendance at both days is required for certification
• Facilitated by: Paul Demelo, Provincial Supervisor and Chief Official for Boxing Ontario, 1-Star IBA
• The clinic will be capped at 12people. Early registration is recommended.

Session 1: Theory Portion
Date: Thursday, July 17, 2025
Time: 6:30pm – 9:30pm ET
Location: Online via Zoom (the Zoom ink will be provided to you the week of the clinic)

Session 2: Practical Portion
Date: Saturday, July 19, 2025
Time: 2pm – 4pm ET
Location: Oakville Boxing Academy (595 Speers Rd, Oakville, ON L6K 2G4)

REGISTRATION:
$130 CAD (online registration) which includes your 2025 registration as a Level 1 Boxing Ontario Official for all who attend and successfully complete the course
