[FDC] Female Sparring Camp
4 March 2023 @ 12:30 pm - 5:00 pm
The Female Development Committee would like to invite you to a female sparring session at TNT Boxing in Guelph on Saturday, March 4th, 2023. Athletes should arrive at 12:30pm for a 1pm start time. Pre-registration is required to ensure proper matches. Please register by March 1 at 11:59pm.
- Boxers are required to have headgear, mouthguard and 16oz sparring gloves.
- BAG GLOVES WILL NOT BE PERMITTED FOR SPARRING!
- All boxers must be registered with Boxing Ontario for 2023 with a competitive membership and an up-to-date medical.
- Following the sparring, we will have a yoga session led by Coach Penny. Please bring a yoga mat for this portion.
- The day will end with a Mental Performance chat led by 2x Olympian Mandy Bujold.
Day Timeline:
12:30pm – Athletes arrive and check in, start to warm up
1:00pm – 2:30pm – Sparring
3:00pm – 3:45pm – Yoga Session
4:00pm – 4:45pm – Mental Performance Chat
5:00pm – Head home
