[FDC] Female Development Training Camp – Windsor

International Female Competitors have been invited to compete at the USA Boxing National Women’s Championships in Toledo, Ohio from July 22-30, 2023.
In preparation for the tournament, with the support of Boxing Ontario’s Female Developmental Committee, the Border City Boxing Club will be hosting a four-day training camp for interested female athletes and coaches, from July 18-21, 2023.
Boxers do not have to compete in the tournament to participate in the FDC Training Camp.

Costs for the Training Camp will be $250 (early registration closes on June 30, 2023) and will include lodging (female only), some food, and training in several locations in Windsor, Ontario and potentially Detroit, Michigan.
Late registration ($300) closes on July 7, 2023 (if spots remain). Camp max of 30 boxers. First come first serve.

Accommodation:
The FDC’s Penny Leimbrock will be staying on-site with the boxers. We have been fortunate to partner with St. Clair College for lodging. Some highlights of the property include:
- 24/7 front desk and security
- Complimentary WIFI and on-site parking
- Housekeeping, linen, toiletries, etc. all provided
- No MAT tax on invoice (college is exempt)
- 1st floor laundry, community kitchen and BBQ area
- 2 minute walk to SCC’s Sportsplex
- Suite includes two private, lockable bedrooms, each with oversized double bed, desk area, cable TV, and dresser. Also includes bathroom and kitchenette
- Complimentary team lounge for meetings, etc. available for use
