Coaches Meetup: Current Trends in Boxing & NCCP Coaching Pathway

All Boxing Ontario coaches are invited to a Coaches Meet-Up via Zoom on Thursday, January 27th at 7pm!

Our guest speakers for the night are Jennifer Huggins (President of Boxing Ontario, 3-Star IBA International Boxing Referee/Judge, coach, and gym owner) and Socrates Celestial (Coaching Committee Vice-Chair, Level 3 NCCP National Coach & IBA Two-Star Certified Boxing Coach)

Jennifer will be giving a presentation on current trends in boxing. She has a wealth of experience travelling to international tournaments, and she will provide an overview of what trends she has observed at the last two international tournaments she refereed at: the AIBA (now IBA) Men’s World Boxing Championships and the Junior Pan American Games.

To follow, Socrates will be presenting on the NCCP coaching pathway and the NCCP coaches’ locker.
