At Princess Margaret Hospital, there’s a special tradition: when a patient completes their full course of chemotherapy treatments, they have the honour of ringing “The Bravery Bell.”
Let’s ring our bell for a brighter future, where no one has to face cancer. Join us in our mission to end cancer in our lifetime.
After more than a decade of hosting the highly anticipated Fight To End Cancer black-tie gala, which has garnered global support and raised nearly 3 million dollars for The Princess Margaret Cancer Centre, we’re bringing back an exciting event that promises to expand our reach and impact.
SAVE THE DATE: FRIDAY NIGHT FIGHTS ‘TO END CANCER’ OCTOBER 18, 2024 AT THE OLD MILL TORONTO
The spotlight which was once exclusive to corporate fighters will now shine on our amateur boxing community through our latest fight series initiative. Each boxer on the “Friday Night Fights” card will not only help raise crucial funds for and awareness of an important cause, but also showcase the captivating sport of boxing in a fresh and meaningful way.
At our inaugural Friday Night Fights ‘To End Cancer’ in 2017, notable boxers from the 2012 Fight To End Cancer event showcased their skills. Amanda Galle, an FTEC Ambassador, recently became the First Canadian Female to Secure the IBO World Championship Title, highlighting the event’s impact on boxing careers.
We are currently inviting boxers of all levels of experience to participate and help us fill the 10 bouts on the card. Whether you’re fighting to support someone close to you or joining the Fight To End Cancer to assist us in our core mission, this is the perfect opportunity to showcase your skills and community support.

About The Fight To End Cancer
The Fight To End Cancer (FTEC) is a year-round initiative carried out by ambassadors, sponsors and volunteers worldwide. Nearly $3 million dollars has been donated to date, since our inaugural year, in 2012. Funds raised by FTEC are donated directly to the Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation. Every 2 years, we celebrate the incredible hard work and dedication of our FTEC family with a black-tie charity boxing gala. This gala showcases ten men and women who represent our Official Fight Team. Our goal is to raise funds for cancer research year-round with the support of the local community and business owners. Let’s make a difference now in the fight to end cancer, for a long and successful future for everyone. This is an event like no other and has quickly become one of the most anticipated events in Toronto. www.fighttoendcancer.com
