Jill Perry at 57 kg. defeated Isabelle Mathieu of Quebec by a score of 33-25. Jill advances to the finals Saturday against Sandra Bizier of the National Team. In the Male 57 kg division, 1st. year senior Jesse Ennis lost to Arash Usmanee of Alberta by a score of 45-22. Jennifer Ogg at 60 kg. continued her domination of her division by defeating Genevieve Lachance of Quebec by RSCO-2. Jennifer moves on to the semis on Saturday boxing Megan Classen of PEI. Ibrahim Kamal at lightweight defeated Curtis White of Nova Scotia 24-12. He now faces Dierry Jean of Quebec in the finals Saturday. Amber Konikow lost to National Champion Ariane Fortin of Quebec RSCO-1 in the 70 kg. female class. Adnan Shahkaran at superheavyweight lost to Matt Mychajliv of Alberta by a score of 30-14 to end the afternoon session. The Evening Session will feature 8 Ontario boxers including Adam Trupish at 71kg. and Jason Douglas at 81kg. More to follow.
