The commitment from CBC Sports to provide a broadcast of the championships is a major win for Canadian Boxing Fans. Boxing Canada’s Executive Director, Christopher Lindsay, feels a surge of support from Canadians. “Olympic-style Boxing has not received much coverage outside of the actual summer Olympics. CBC’s commitment to covering the World Championships will help introduce our National Team athletes to thousands of new fans and boost them as they look at repeating the success of Wyatt Sanford who won a bronze medal at the 2024 Paris Olympics.” Coverage of the World Cup series is being provided over the season free of charge by World Boxing on their YouTube channel. Boxing Canada is looking to support coverage of domestic Olympic-style boxing through streaming the upcoming Elite National Championships in November 2025 on its own Boxing Canada YouTube channel.
