It is with great pleasure that the International Boxing Association (AIBA) has announced that the Mexico Boxing Federation will be the proud hosts of the 2008 AIBA Youth World Championships in Guadalajara City from October 24-November 2, 2008.
The AIBA Youth World Championships will feature the stars of tomorrow and is aligned with the new Youth Olympic Games (YOG) where the goal is to contribute to the development of young talented boxers and the enhancement of the public’s interest in the sport of boxing.
The biennial AIBA Youth World Boxing Championships replaces the former Under-19 World Championships which was last held in Morocco in 2006. |
