Canadian & American Police “Punch It Up” For Canadian Forces
Mississauga: CESBA will be hosting a premier TWO-EVENT day in support of the Canadian Forces and the “Soldier On” Fund. Canadian and American Police will be demonstrating their unwavering support for the men and women of the Canadian Forces by having a morning breakfast followed by an evening charity “Punch Up”.
When: Thursday November 12th 2009
Event 1: 07:00 – 09:00hrs: Charity Community Breakfast & Open training Session – Drive through or drop in for a breakfast sandwhich. Watch an open training session featuring female/male police boxers & young, local Olympic boxing prospects.
Event 2: Doors open at 5 p.m. – Opening Ceremonies at 7 p.m.Punch Up In Peel III: Guest of honour: Mayor Hazel McCallion receiving “World Champion Mayor” Title Belt. Canadian and American Police/Peace Officers competing in provincially sanctioned Olympic Boxing. (Tickets $20.00 in advance & $25.00 at door – www.cesba for locations)

McLean, M/Cpl Jody Mitic, Cpl McTeague; your media colleagues, 2009 Argos Cheerleaders; CFL Legend Angelo Mosca, Olympic prospects, Boxing Ontario Executives & coaches, female/male Canadian & American Police/Peace Officers boxers from: Renowned NYPD “Fighting Finest”, Halton, Peel, Toronto, O.P.P., Kitchener, Ministry of Community Safety & Corrections; Canadian Border Service Agency; citizens, Community/Police & Association leaders.
What: In September 2009, I brought the CESBA team to the international base in Kandahar Afghanistan.We hosted a morale enhancing boxing show for the armed forces deployed there (view footage www.cesba.ca).It was a great honour to be on this mission and to tour the forward operating bases.
Our team met and spoke with many of our great Canadian Forces and International soldiers stationed there.It is vital that we demonstrate our support for the great men and women of our Canadian Forces at all times.I hope you are able to join us at this special inaugural event.
