On April 2, 2004, Boxing Ontario will host its 25th Anniversary Awards Dinner at the Merritton Community Centre, in St. Catharines, Ontario.The Awards Dinner is a tribute to the Amateur Boxing community and the people who have made the sport so successful.The evening will be hosted by 3-Time Olympian Mike Strange and will consist of fine dining, the Awards Ceremony, a Legends Reunion, and live boxing.

Special guest Spider Jones will offer a unique presentation by sharing some insightful stories and enlightening anecdotes on amateur boxing in Ontario.

Honours will include the Male and Female Athlete of the Year, Arnie Boehm Coach of the Year, Reg Bender Official of the Year, and Dave Sparks Volunteer of the Year awards.The Legends Reunion, brought to you by TOP TEN Canada, will recognize a great cast of individuals who have contributed to the success of amateur boxing.This group will feature coaches, officials, and Olympians Billy Irwin, Egerton Marcus, and Troy Ross.
