According to the Boxing Canada Competition Handbook for the 2024 Elite and U23 Nationals, wildcards may be available depending on registration numbers. Each province should send requests for wildcard spots as part of their online registration with Boxing Canada. Selection for wildcard spots will take into consideration size of the field (aiming for 8 or 16 athletes in each class), the strength of provincial fields, host province participation, and past results. Requests will be reviewed by Boxing Canada on November 2nd and provinces will be sent notice of wildcard spots, positive or negative, before noon November 3rd. Wildcard decisions are final and unappealable.
