April 13, 2025 | Toronto, ON – Almost 70 Boxing Ontario athletes in the U17, U19, and U23 divisions were back in action at Kingsway Boxing Club for the fourth training camp in preparation for the U17/U19/U23 Canadian Championships.

This camp served as the final opportunity for wildcard applicants to showcase their skills and earn a spot on Team Ontario. Provincial team members and wildcard applicants engaged in test matches which were meticulously evaluated by Boxing Ontario’s High Performance and Coaching Committee.

Throughout the camp, athletes demonstrated exceptional grit, technical prowess, and tactical intelligence. Their performances left a strong impression on the committee, highlighting the depth of talent within Ontario’s boxing community.

The U17/U19/U23 National Championships, organized by Boxing Canada in partnership with the Quebec Open, are scheduled to take place from May 29 to June 1 in Quebec City.

Boxing Ontario extends its gratitude to the High Performance and Coaching Committee for organizing this camp, to Kingsway Boxing for graciously hosting the camp in their state-of-the-art facility, and to the athletes’ personal coaches and all the prospective team coaches for contributing their time and expertise, making the camp a success.

The next training camp returns to Kingsway Boxing on April 27 following team selections.
