The 2007 Men’s World Championships that was scheduled to begin on October 17 has now been changed. The championships will run from October 23 – November 3, 2007. These championships are especially important this year as it is the opening qualifying event for the 2008 Olympics (in Beijing, China).
Other news, the AIBA World Boxing Championships Chicago 2007 launched an innovative and powerful logo at an official presentation ceremony in Chicago on Friday.
Chicago Mayor Richard Daley was present and was joined by local boxers for the unveiling of the logo which consists of a boxer symbolising strength and athleticism standing in front of the Chicago skyline.
