Egerton Marcus was born February 2, 1965 in Good Fortune, Guyana he won the silver medal in the Middleweight division (71-75 kg) at the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul for Canada.

Won the Middleweight Silver Medal representing Canada at the 1988 Olympics in Seoul, South Korea. His results were:
