SUMMARY:FDC | Performance & Development Camp – Belleville
DESCRIPTION:Pinnacle Boxing invites you to their Performance & Development Camp on Saturday\, March 28\, 2026 from 12:00 PM–3:00 PM. \nThis 3-hour Female Development Camp will focus primarily on Novice boxers\, while also providing Open division athletes the opportunity to spar at the conclusion of the session. Many Open athletes will be attending alongside Novice boxers from their gyms\, and this format allows both groups to benefit from the experience. \nPinnacle regularly host out-of-town gym sparring sessions and are very familiar with most of the athletes who will be in attendance. This familiarity allows us to create appropriate match-ups and ensure a productive\, safe\, and structured environment. \nCAMP FOCUS (3 HOURS) \nPrimary Emphasis: \n\nTechnical drills for Novice athletes\nSkill refinement and ring IQ development\nStructured\, controlled sparring\nOpen athlete sparring in the final portion of the session\n\nGiven the limited 3-hour timeframe\, the camp will prioritize drills and live work to maximize development opportunities. \nATHLETE EDUCATION COMPONENT \nIn addition to technical training\, we will include a brief educational segment on understanding calories and how they work. This is a simple\, practical explanation that all 40 of our competitive athletes are required to memorize and understand. \nThis portion will be presented by Assistant Coach Makayla Johnson\, a multiple-time Provincial and National medalist. We believe her competitive experience and relatability will help this information resonate strongly with the athletes. \nLOCATION & ADDRESS:\nPinnacle Boxing\n257 Pinnacle Street\nBelleville\, ON \nREQUIREMENTS:\n✅ Boxers are required to be registered for 2026 (non-competitive/competitive sparring) and have an updated annual medical.\n✅ Headgear\n✅ Mouthguard\n✅ 14-16oz sparring gloves.
