DESCRIPTION:Are you ready to become a boxing coach? This two-day course will introduce coaches to the Instruction Beginners module (Formerly Level 1 Apprentice Coach) offered through Boxing Ontario. \nDATE:\nSaturday\, October 8 AND Sunday\, October 9\, 2022 \nTIME:\n9am-4pm ET both days \nLOCATION:\nLFG Fitness and Athletic Performance\n25 Hollinger Rd.\nEast York\, ON \nBRING:\n• Come prepared to be active; wear some appropriate footwear and comfortable activewear and bring a water bottle to the class.\n• If you own gloves and hand pads\, feel free to bring them\, but this is not a necessity.\n• Bring writing utensils such as pen/paper.\n• Time will be allotted for lunch. DESCRIPTION:Beaver Boxing Club presents “OktoberFist” on October 08\, 2022 at the club’s main ring 145 Spruce Street. \nThe evening will showcase up-and-coming and top amateur boxers from Ontario and Quebec in 10 bouts in various weight categories for both male and female boxers. The bouts\, which will be refereed under Olympic rules\, are sanctioned by Boxing Ontario. The results will count in the official boxing standings. \nLimited tickets for the event are available through our website in advance. Proceeds from the event will be donated to the Youth Boxing Program. \nBeaver Boxing is a non-profit\, provincially incorporated organization that promotes the development of amateur boxing in the Ottawa region.
