DESCRIPTION:Join Boxing Ontario’s Female Development Committee (FDC) for the next camp at Corcoran’s Boxing Club & Fitness Centre in Peterborough on Saturday\, September 23rd. This camp is designed to bring female athletes from across the province together to spar and learn from each other. \nWe will have a discussion led by Olympian\, Mandy Bujold about Reaching Your Full Potential. Mandy will go over some of the keys she attributes to her success in the ring and give you tips to get YOU closer to your goal. \nEveryone will also have an opportunity to get sparring rounds with different-style boxers during the boxing workout. To finish off we will have an open ninja warrior course which athletes can challenge themselves to complete. You don’t want to miss this one! \nAthletes are to arrive at 10:00am for a 10:15am start time. Pre-registration is required to ensure proper matches. Registration closes Sunday\, September 17\, 2023 at 11:59pm. \nREQUIREMENTS:\n– Boxers are required to be registered for 2023 or 2024 and have an updated medical.\n– Headgear\n– Mouthguard\n– 14-16oz sparring gloves.
