CESBA IS A KNOCK OUT IN THE COMMUNITY

 

MEDIA INVITE TO TRAINING CAMP

Brampton- The Canadian Emergency Services Boxing Association (CESBA) is set to launch a series of amateur boxing events across the country to promote camaraderie, goodwill and friendship between the services and the community by hosting exciting, inter-agency boxing competitions in support of well deserving charities.

CESBA is a grass roots organization whose membership includes police officers, fire fighters, paramedics, probation and parole officers, correction officers and members of the Canadian Border Service Agencies and their supporters. The CESBA boxing events feature  female and male emergency service workers meeting each other in the ring where the clear winner is the select charity and the enjoyment had by all.

WHEN: Thursday May 29th – 11 a.m.

WHERE: Kombat Arts Training Academy – 1110 Kamato Rd. unit 7-11 Mississauga

WHAT: Media invite to CESBA training camp. Many female and male CESBA boxers will be on site training as they try for a place on the upcoming CESBA cards. There will be sparring, heavy bag, speed bag, hand pad work and opportunities for interview. Announcement of upcoming events including: Salute to our Soldiers – CFB Petawawa – two weeks prior to our soldiers deployment to Afghanistan and the Punch up at Parliament held during the National Police And Peace Officer Memorial Weekend in Ottawa.

WHO: The following will be on site for interviews: Canadian Soldiers, Representatives from the Canadian Military Family Resource Center; Canadian Police Association, Boxing Ontario, former Olympic boxers, top coaches, trainers, other boxing personalities, female/male emergency service personnel from the GTA and President of CESBA Barry Dolan.
