BOX-ON! Fitness Program Ready to Rock Boys and Girls Clubs of Ontario!

This coming Wednesday, May 26 and Thursday, May 27, Boxing Ontario will introduce BOX-ON! to the Boys and Girls Clubs of Ontario.  BOX-ON! is a fitness-based routine that utilizes Olympic-style training techniques in promoting a healthy and active lifestyle.  The program is a non-contact, turn-key tool for sport coordinators in youth centres and clubs and is aimed at children 8-16 years of age.

Two showcase events will be held at Albion Neighbourhood Services Boys and Girls Club in Etobicoke and the events are open to the public.  The sessions will be led by BOX-ON! Head Instructor Kathy Ure, former National Boxing Champion and boxing fitness expert.  As part of the festivities, Boxing Ontario will donate a cheque to the Boys and Girls Clubs of Ontario from funds it raised at the 25th Anniversary Awards Dinner.
