Let’s Get Coaching! – Kickoff event

Love sports? Want to get involved in your community? Looking to make a difference while working with children? If you said yes, yes, yes then you should sign up for FREE training to become a coach AND help with a world record attempt while doing it!

Join the City of Toronto, in partnership with the Coaches Association of Ontario (CAO), for the launch of Let’s Get Coaching! At this all-day event, 350 participants will simultaneously take the National Coaching Certification Program Fundamental Movement Skills workshop – a critical first step in becoming a certified coach – and set a world record for the most would-be coaches being trained at the same time.

On Sports Day in Canada, November 29th, the City of Toronto is partnering with the CAO for this all-day event where 350 participants will simultaneously take the NCCP FMS workshop.

Coaching makes a difference

The event will be held at the University of Toronto Scarborough Instructional Centre and the new Toronto Pan Am Sports Centre and will teach individuals how to observe and improve fundamental movement skills (throwing, catching, jumping, running, balance, etc.), analyze and identify the various stages of skill development, create a safe learning environment for kids and much more. All successful participants will be credited with completing the workshop in the Coaching Association of Canada (CAC) database, known as the Locker.

This will be the largest FMS workshop ever offered in Ontario so we are excited to invite you and your City of Toronto resident coaches to join us!
