TSN laces up the gloves for the 2005 National Senior Boxing Championships on Saturday, Jan. 29 at 2 p.m. ET (encore on Sunday, Jan. 30 at 11:30 p.m. ET and Friday, Feb. 4 at 12:30 p.m. ET).  The 2005 National Senior Boxing Championships feature a wide range of Canada’s best amateur pugilists, from Olympians to World Champions to National title-holders.

Originally held from January 20 to 23 at Hotel des Seigneurs in St. Hyacinthe, Quebec, the event features commentary and analysis from boxing experts Russ Anber and Darren Dutchyshen of TSN’s IN THIS CORNER.

The two-hour program includes six Men’s title bouts featuring such prominent Canadian fighters as 2004 Olympian Adam Trupish and fellow National Team members Sebastien Gauthier, Kevin Bizier and Bername Stiverne.  The program also takes viewers into the corner of Adonis
Stevenson, an up-and-coming fighter who is trained by Anber himself.

TSN’s 2005 National Senior Boxing Championships includes profiles on several of the competitors and provides highlights and results from the annual event.
