Boxing Ontario regrets to infom you that ‘Florida’ Jack Harrell of Florida Jack’s Boxing Club passed away on Saturday March 11, 2006. This is tremendous sad news for Ontario’s Amateur Boxing community. Jack Harrell was known for his dedication and love of amateur boxing. With his club located in the heart of downtown, it was a place where many of Toronto’s youth fell in love with amateur boxing.
Jack Harrell’s life will be celebrated with a memorial on Sunday March 19, 2006. The memorial will take place at his club, 782 Yonge St. (Yonge & Bloor) Memorial will begin at 4pm.
