St. Paddy’s Day Punch Up

 

Police & Corrections Punch Up Support for Future Olympians

 

Mississauga- The Canadian Emergency Services Boxing Association (CESBA) is celebrating one of the most important days of the year with a sanctioned amateur boxing event in support of one of their members who lost a long, courageous battle against cancer. She leaves behind two young daughters and husband who is also a member.

The night is also in support of several young Olympic prospects who are 2009 Canadian Amateur Boxing Champions. Don’t be counted out as the renowned “Sugar Daddy’s” nightclub welcomes everyone to come out for an exciting evening of Irish hospitality including traditional Irish Dancing, live music and exciting amateur boxing where local law enforcement officers will be squaring off with each other in support ofthese worthy causes.

When:Tuesday March 17th, 2009 – 7:00 p.m. – Opening ceremonies.

Where:Belfast lounge – Sugar Daddy’s – 5165 Dixie Road Mississauga.

What: Female and male police officers from Peel will be stepping into the ring against their counterparts from Toronto, Halton and The Ministry of Community and Public Safety in support of two worthy causes.

Who: Join undisputed Champions Mayor Hazel “Hurricane” McCallion, Canadian Heavyweight Boxing Icon George Chuvalo and “The Contender Series Champion”- Commonwealth/Canadian Cruiserweight Champion and next World Cruiserweight Champion Troy “the Boss” Ross, at the opening ceremonies along with your colleagues, local Olympic Boxing prospects, emergency service personnel and their supporters.
