Once again the Canadian Female Team travelled abroad.  Once again they came home champions.  Four members of the team (3 from Ontario) competed in the Taiwan Female International Tournament from November 20 – 27 and they returned home yesterday with three gold medals.

National Team Coach Peter Wylie was extremely proud of the women who participated and said they gave an excellent effort on all parts.  “The women represented Canada very well and they were complimented on numerous occasions for their sportsmanship, courtesy to others, and their competitive will to win.”  Wylie also gave a lot of credit to the personal coaches of each athlete, saying that without their efforts these women would not be the champions that they are today.  A big thanks to Chuck Evans, Benoit Martel, Charlie Stewart, and Peter Wylie for their outstanding contributions.
