Results from the Tourneo Italia Women’s World Tournament, June 9-12, 2004.
The Ontario women captured 1 Gold Medal, 3 Silvers, and 2 Bronze in a tournament that featured many of the world’s best female amateur boxers. Leading the way was Mary Spencer of the Windsor Amateur Boxing Club, who controlled all of her matches in the 66kg division and cruised to a 35-18 point decision over Anna Ingroth of Sweden in the finals.
