MEDIA ADVISORY
This past weekend boxers from all over Canada met in Windsor for the 2008 Cadet C & Junior Nationals. This 4-day tournament also featured the Senior Open Final Team Selection (FTS).
The tournament played host to over 100 live bouts. New national champions were crowned as well as hard fought titles reclaimed. See below for official results.
Ontario is especially proud of its Senior Female boxers; who claimed 8 out of 13 spots on the National team. This is the most number of Ontario females that have represented on a national team. The FTS determines the final roster for the National Team. Males and Females that get short listed are able to compete for Canada at an international level.
