HUF Boxers Duke it Out at Recent Tournament
Local Canadian Boxer Wins Championship, Awarded ‘Best Boxer of Tournament’

 

 

MISSISSAUGA, ON – Canada’s Largest Boxing Gym, HUF Executive Fitness, was well represented at a recent boxing tournament across the border. HUF GYM Chief Instructors Andrew Heron and Steve Cabral, went to Ann Arbour Michigan for the James Lights Out Toney Invitational Tournament last weekend with local HUF sluggers.
 
Boxers Kdee Von Warner (132lbs) Larone Jet Whyte (165lbs) and Alexandre The Great Duong (141lbs) all Senior Open Class, and Saint John Lai (165lbs) Senior Novice Class stepped into the ring to fight more experienced boxers on their turf, and they did not disappoint.
Kdee Von Warner, who was in the process of being incarcerated when he first started at HUF, won the Championship title and was awarded Best Boxer of the Tournament. His first fight was won by a third round TKO and he went on to floor Gary Robinson of ‘The world’s best boxing gym’ in Detroit, MI,  winning by third round TKO.
 
Larone Jet Whyte, Alexandre The Great Duong and Saint John Lai all placed 2nd in their respective divisions
 
“These guys were incredible and were the only Canadian boxers in the tournament”, says Andrew. “Their hard work ethic was put on display; we are very excited about their success.  Praise be to The LORD my Rock, who trains my hands for war by fingers for battle.”
