The Ringside World Championships was held last week in Kansas City from Aug 2-6. This championship is deemed to be one of the largest world tournaments. This year alone, 15 different countries were represented over the 4 days.

Many Boxing Ontario members took this opportunity to represent Canada, Boxing Ontario, and their respective clubs against many worthy opponents. But once again Ontario came through and brought home plenty of gold blingage once again. Here are a few finals results:

90lb Girls Novice
Shelby Bialkowski (Border City) def Kelly Martin (Kansas City)

Senior Mens Open
Andre Gorges (Border City) def Enver Halili ( Weatherford, TX)

48kg Senior Womens Open
Jacqui Park (Cabbagetown) def Jennifer Walker (Alberta, CAN)
