CANADIAN FORCES RALLY & RINGSIDE FOR KIDS

IT’S TIME TO ANSWER THE BELL

Toronto- All members of the media and public are invited to a Canadian Forces Rally and Ringside for Kids event to help us lead off  “Veteran’s Month” and recognize the efforts and sacrifices of our Canadian Forces and their families. Event hosted by CESBA and the Royal Regiment of Canada.

Event Info & Background at: www.ringsideforkids.com & www.cesba.ca – Free Admission and donations are accepted at the door for the Canada Company Scholarship Fund.

When:  Saturday October 27th, 2012 – 15:00 – 23:00 hrs

Where:  The impressive Fort York Armouries – 660 Fleet St. West Toronto

What: A special recognition and rally event for the Canadian Forces followed by an evening of sanctioned amateur boxing featuring Team Canada (Police: Toronto, Peel, OPP, Paramedics, Parole) vs Team USA (NYPD and US Army Boxing Teams).

15:00-17:00hrs: Military, Police and Emergency Service displays and demonstrations including: Police K-9 Demonstrations, Toronto Police Mounted Unit, Tactical and Uniform Units, Military Defence Tactic demonstration and Arctic Warfare display, Paramedics, Fire and Marine/Dive Units. 17:00 – 18:00 hrs: Recognition of Canadian Forces and Law Enforcement Personnel and welcome of Team U.S.A by attending dignitaries.

19:00 hrs: Opening Ceremonies for Ringside For Kids with National Anthems performed by Etobicoke School of the Arts 20 member “Chamber Choir” followed by boxing.
