Results are now in from Liverpool, as the National Senior Men’s Team faced England in a boxing show last evening. The friendly was a tune-up for the Multi-Nations Tournament taking place in Liverpool this weekend.
Adam Trupish of Windsor defeated Ryan Pickard by KO in the first round. Jason Douglas defeated Shawn McDonald RSCO-3 in the light heavyweight division. Jonathon Bochner of Atlas lost a close decision 14-16 to Nathan Brough and Ibrahim Kamal of Cabbagetown lost 6-15 to Frank Gavin.
Other results for Canada were Dominic Longpre of Quebec losing RSC-Body, Tyson Cave of Nova Scotia lost 14-16, and Alberta boxers Arash Usmanee (13-21) and Gino Nardari (7-14).
