“These kids are amazing, they have no fear and they box their hearts out.”
                                           – Fan in attendance at Cadet Provincials ’05

The Cadet Provincials did not disappoint this weekend, as supporters filled the Holiday Inn in Oshawa to watch the best and brightest 11-16 year old boxers in Ontario.  A big thanks to the Motor City Boxing Club of Oshawa for its continued support of Boxing Ontario tournaments and for putting on such a great show.  Tournament organizer Don Nelson even showed up on Sunday with a broken ankle – get better Don!

The Gold Medalists from the tournament will now advance to represent Ontario at the Cadet National Championships in Prince George, B.C., April 1-3.  Prior to the team’s departure a Training Camp will be held in Lindsay for our champions to get ready.  Congratulations to all the boxers who participated, you are the future of boxing and we are so proud of your efforts!
