Toronto, ON – Join Boxing Ontario for a celebration on Saturday May 30, 2009, as we honor Athletes, Coaches, Officials, and Volunteers and induct 4 new Legends into our Ring of Fame. They will all be honored at a great evening presentation mixed with live amateur boxing at the annual Boxing Ontario Awards.
The awards will take place within the Holiday Inn Conference Centre in Oshawa.This event will begin with a tradeshow and training camp during the afternoon, followed by dinner at 6:30pm then live amateur boxing at 8pm.

Boxing Ontario is the governing body for Amateur Boxing in Ontario. As such, it is affiliated with the Canadian Amateur Boxing Association (CABA) and the Association International de Boxe Amateur (AIBA). Boxing Ontario was founded in the fall of 1972 and has seen a steady growth over the last 30 years. Currently, Boxing Ontario encompasses more than 80 clubs in 5 regions, 900 competitors and approximately 12,000 more recreational members.
