We are happy to announce the dates for the 2020 & 2021 Super Channel Championships (Nationals):
- 2020: May 11-17
- 2021: April 19-25
The Championships will be held in Eastern Canada and the host city will be confirmed very soon. We are currently finalizing agreements, which is why the public announcement is delayed as we want to make sure it is coordinated with all parties.
The dates in 2020 are a little later than previously hosted due to the changes in the AIBA calendar and Olympic Qualification Pathway, and we wanted to make sure that regardless of the dates for these events it would not conflict with our own championships.
The 2020 Championships are not part of the Team selection for Tokyo 2020 and therefore a Canadian Olympic Trial (to be held in December 2019 / January 2020) will be held to confirm the boxers who will take part in the Olympic Qualification Pathway. The dates and location of the Canadian Olympic trial will be communicated shortly.
