This year’s Boxing Ontario Awards Dinner and Corporate Boxing Show will be a classic.  Held on June 17 at the St. Volodymyr Cultural Centre in Oakville, Ontario, the event will feature a live 6-bout boxing matchup between Ontario and Quebec.  The evening will be hosted by celebrity guests George Chuvalo and Donovan Bailey!

Last year, the inaugural Boxing Ontario Awards Dinner was held and over 300 people attended.  It was organized in conjunction with the Ray McGibbon’s Tournament in St. Catharines.  This year, the dinner is brought to a new region, and it is the MAIN EVENT.  Join us as we salute the best in Ontario amateur boxing.  The evening will begin with a reception and the opportunity to get your first look at the Silent Auction items up for bid.  Our Master of Ceremonies and celebrity hosts will welcome our guests and then we will present the awards to the best of 2004.  Awards, to be announced LIVE, include:

Male & Female Athlete of the Year
Coach, Official, & Volunteer of the Year
Club Awards – Competitive Membership, Recreational Membership, Athlete Development
Legends – 4 new individuals will be inducted into the “Legends Ring of Fame”, one in each of the following categories: Boxer, Coach, Official, Builder

Following the Awards Ceremony, a fine meal will be served, provided by the fantastic staff at the St. Volodymyr Cultural Centre.  Then, the boxing begins.  The rivalry continues as the best of Ontario battle the best of Quebec!  This will be a great show for boxing afficionados and casual fans alike.
