Please release for circulation, today as soon as possible. __________________________________ March 3, 2010 For Immediate Release: MEDIA ADVISORY Amateur Boxing is set to take centre stage at the Ontario Winter Games in Muskoka .The best amateur youth boxers from Ontario will be there participating. Entries from boxing clubs across Ontario will assemble at the JW Marriot Hotel looking to become Ontario Winter Games Champions. Boxing Ontario will be well represented with its best youth athletes attending the Ontario Winter Games. There will be athletes representing boxing clubs from Hamilton, Sault Ste. Marie, Schreiber, Pickering, LaSalle, Mississauga, Ajax, Waterloo, Bala, Barrie, Toronto, Ottawa, Sarnia, Lindsay, & Brampton. The uniform worn this year by Boxing Ontario Youth athletes is sponsored by Stitchy Lizard. Francine DiGiacomo-Danan states “Stitchy Lizard wants all the athletes to keep warm with their Boxing Ontario toques. Good luck to all Boxing Ontario athletes! The Ontario Winter Games are a celebration of youth sport in this province and are held every two years. It is a four day competition of athletes between the ages of 10 & 22. Over 3,500 participants, including athletes, coaches and officials will take part in a total of 23 different sports. Over 1,000 volunteers are helping make this event a success.
